It's
1) Definitely an inside job (well planned out, plus in a high security zone)
2) A retaliation to the attacks against the Taliban
3) Done by our very own Pakis.

1) There is no such thing as a "High Security Zone" in Pakistan.
2) Retaliation - I Agree. However, u must atleast laud the audacity of the enemy for sacrificing their own lives just to make a point, again and again.
3) Done by Pakistanis? Maybe. Or Maybe not. Obviously if its a Taliban retaliation, then these people do not follow a Pakistani state. Hardly 'Pakistani' if u ask me.

What I can unequivocally agree though is that these people are cowards, because they cannot strike their real enemy, "The Army", so they strike civilians who even they know have nothing to do with anything.

Oz, the date in the title looks like an ID number. Could this have to do with it?

:P:chuckle:

What happened there was very disturbing. Really at a mosque?

Their target were senior army officials...but they took out half a mosque to do that. And the officials families.

so someone who doesn't support/follow the government is not considered a citizen of that country? how ridiculous!

Someone who doesn't support/follow the state and kills innocent civilians to make their point can hardly be considered a citizen of the state. Because their actions are 2 folds.
1) They do not support the entire state.
2) They kill citizens of the state who have really nothing to do with policies leveled against them.

The US of A is behind these attacks. No doubt about it.

Soon Pakistan is going to become as unstable as Iraq/Afghanistan were before the US intervened. Once this happens, the US will take over the Pakistan government and build a military base in order to look over the two emerging super powers China and India.

While watching the Live report on TV, this is what I observed:

1) Investigators said they found a cache of hand grenades and pistols of US origin, and they emphasized on the US bit a lot, and frequently mentioned this point

2) Another senior government official condemned this attack as being unholy, and said he was sure it was done by fellow Pakistanis in retaliation, and shouldn't be regarded as being a holy attack at all.

Sad for the innocent that died.

on the other hand, considering the recent overflow of Blackwater operatives, ex-CIA officers into pakistan... the recent wave of bombings in civilian areas cannot be a surprise

as much as high value targets the army officials are - the lives of other Muslims aint expendable

pakistan sectarian violence is extreme as well - any side (if provided the weapons) will fall to such lengths....

the real Taliban in afganistan have denied any links to the "pak" taliban - and any operations which they conduct

who knows, it could be an inside job to get rid of specific army personnel - maybe from inside the pak army itself - or the americans (wanted to get rid of those army officials who refused to co-operate of could be seen as having a soft side for the Taliban), both for whom civilian casualties is not an issue.

but considering from an Islamists view .... civilian casualties must be avoided at all costs (esp if innocent Muslim lives are at stake)
